IDoS 2019 – International Dialogue on STEM Education in Berlin, 05.-06.12.2019

Berlin becomes the capital of education in the domain of STEM for the second time: For the upcoming conference IDoS 2019 a programme committee elaborated a concept to make the vision of a “sustainable society” a reality. With the thematic focus on “STEM Education for Sustainable Development” in 2019, the participants will develop a joint educational strategy for sustainable development.
The "International Dialogue on STEM Education" (IDoS) is a joint conference of the "Haus der kleinen Forscher" Foundation and Siemens Stiftung. It targets representatives of leading STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) education initiatives, scientists and decision-makers in politics and civil society worldwide.
IDoS 2019 will take place in Berlin, Germany on 5 and 6 December and will bring together a select group of 100 experts from all over the world. Some 20 countries from five continents will be represented by around four persons (initiative member, scientist, decision-maker) from each country. The “International Dialogue on STEM Education” is an invitation only event with a carefully curated audience. Attendance is free.
